Paul Foreman, a culinary maestro with a rich tapestry of achievements and an exuberant personality, embarked on a consulting journey in 2018, driven by a desire to give back to the industry that shaped him over 30 years.
In close collaboration with Paul, I had the privilege of crafting an adaptable brand. This involved weaving together a bold typeface and oil textures that echo Paul's extensive tenure as a head chef in Australia's premier restaurants. The brand, designed to be versatile, places a spotlight on compelling imagery, allowing Paul and his favorite ingredients to take center stage.
For a comprehensive visual narrative, I collaborated with local photographer Nat Mendham to capture striking visuals and seized the opportunity to incorporate videography for Paul's website and social media channels. The goal was to create a brand that not only showcased Paul's expertise but also possessed the flexibility to command attention in both corporate settings and on hospitality event posters.
The cherry on top was the nomination for the Dieman Awards in the art direction category, an honour shared with distinguished brands like MONA and the University of Tasmania. Crafting Paul's brand was a personal favorite, and I'm immensely proud to have played a role in its recognition.
