In 2022, a collaborative effort between Concentrix Catalyst and Microsoft gave rise to the Accessibility and Inclusivity Innovation Day—a hackathon dedicated to enhancing digital inclusivity. Sponsored by various partners, the event aimed at generating innovative solutions for specific audiences, including those with vision impairment, neurodivergence, and mobility restrictions.
While contributing to the organisation of the day, my role extended to crafting a brand that seamlessly integrated with Microsoft and Concentrix Catalyst. The challenge was to encapsulate the essence of the event.
Opting for a design approach characterised by simple yet bold typography and employing accessible-friendly colours, and a set of iconography. These icons not only spotlighted diverse body forms but also underscored the technology driving digital accessibility.
The versatile brand assets found application across a spectrum of mediums, including presentations, t-shirts, pull-up banners, lanyards, posters, way-finding, social media graphics, and event run sheets. It was a privilege to contribute to a cause that resonates with the spirit of inclusivity and innovation.
